Week 2 Resources: Content Creation System & Automation

Required Software & Accounts

Before starting, ensure you have the following tools and accounts ready.

Aidolons: The primary platform used to create and automate the content generation process.
- Visit Aidolons
CapCut (or any video editor): Used for minor video editing, cropping, and trimming.
- Download CapCut
Social Media Accounts: Required for the distribution workflows.
- YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.

Key Concepts & Architecture

To build a consistent automated content system, we structure our workspace with the following components:

Characters: Detailed character sheets (e.g., “Maya Vale”) with visual references, personality traits, and backstories to ensure consistency across generations.
Locations: Visual references and descriptions of the setting (e.g., “Maya’s Kitchen”).
Universe Document: A central document that links all characters and locations together for the AI to reference.
Storyboards: The scene-by-scene breakdown of an episode, including prompts, parameters, and generated video clips.
Workflows: Automated sequences of tasks (e.g., generating an episode, analyzing a video, posting to social media).

Example Prompts

You can use these prompts within the Aidolons chat interface to build your universe and generate content.

1. Character Creation

Initial Character Generation:


Create a character reference image of a 28 year old female, dark hair, olive skin tone, and attractive. The vibe should be comfortable and relatable.

2. Location Creation

Generating the Setting:


in the Locations folder, create a reference sheet for the location of Maya's Kitchen. Include the image reference

3. Storyboard & Episode Outlining

create a simple outline for a 15 second video that shows how to prepare some recipe. keep it all within 6 shots

Generating a Storyboard from an Outline:


create a single scene storyboard based on [docs/episodes/Episode 1 Outline]

Automation Workflows

Here is the structure for the workflows built in the video. Paste each one into Aidolons as a workflow.

Workflow 1: Create Episode


read first:
  Episode 1 Outline
  Episode 2 Outline

steps:
  1. create an outline for an episode of our cooking show
    - be creative with recipes - don't reuse the same ideas
    - skip the ingredient list and go straight to preparation
  2. before continuing, create a proposal to approve the outline
  3. create a storyboard based on the outline
  4. before continuing, create a proposal to approve the storyboard
  5. generate the video and add it to the storyboard

Workflow 2: Distribute Video


inputs:

steps:
  1. analyze and transcribe [video]
    - save to "docs/episodes/episode_[episode_number]_analysis"
  2. based on the analysis in the previous step, create "docs/episodes/episode_[episode_number]_details"
    - it should contain: Title, Description (single sentence simple summary)
  3. upload the [video] to YouTube using the details created in the previous step
  4. upload the [video] to Instagram using the same details
